El Rey extends Dusk Till Dawn

El Rey Network, the US channel founded by filmmaker Robert Rodriguez, has renewed drama From Dusk Till Dawn for a third season.

The TV series is based on Rodriguez’s 1996 movie of the same name and is produced by Miramax, Sugarcane Entertainment, FactoryMade Ventures and Rodriguez International Pictures.

The first 10-episode season premiered on El Rey in 2014 and was later picked up by SVoD service Netflix.

The show, which will air its second-season finale today, was created by Rodriguez, who also directed four of the first season’s instalments.
