Earth to Luna lands on TFO

Earth to Luna comes from Pinguim Content

Ontario-based French-language channel TFO has acquired the first two seasons of Brazilian animation Earth to Luna.

The 156×12’ series was created by Brazilian animation firm Pinguim Content for Discovery Latin America, which has just finished airing its sixth season. A seventh run is now in the works.

So far, Earth to Luna has aired in more than 127 territories over six continents. Season six and the Christmas special were recently picked up by Condista’s Kids Central channel in the US, while TFO’s acquisition will give the show its French Canadian premiere.

Other companies to have picked up the show include online platform airG’s MiniMe Videos in the US, Ludikids in French-speaking Africa, Ceska in the Czech Republic, TG4 in Ireland, Minika in Turkey and Discovery Kids in the Middle East and North Africa. The series will also air on Showmax in South Africa this year.
