DRG taps All3Media sales exec

UK distributor DRG has appointed an All3Media International sales manager to a similar role working across EMEA territories.

Lucy Roberts joins the London-based firm as senior sales manager for CEE and French-speaking territories, working closely with Adam Barth, who was recently upped to senior VP for EMEA. She reports to Elin Thomas, DRG’s executive VP of sales.

Prior to joining DRG, Roberts was format sales manager for EMEA north at All3Media. She has also worked as a sales manager at Keshet International.

Roberts’ other previous jobs include various roles across both finished programme sales and format licensing at BBC Studios (fka BBC Worldwide), having begun her career at ITV distributor ITV Studios Global Entertainment.

“Lucy brings with her a wide range of experience covering both format licensing and completed programming sales, and has already worked extensively in EMEA and CEE,” said Thomas.

“As we continue to evolve our business, we need passionate lovers of content, who understand how our world is changing, and who can work closely with a wide range of different content buyers. It is no longer sufficient to just be a traditional salesperson. Lucy is a brilliant fit with these requirements.”

Roberts said DRG’s “entrepreneurial spirit, range of producer partners and huge formats catalogue” were big draws to the position.
