DRG, Dopamine partner on scripted

NENT Group-owned distributor DRG has signed an agreement with Mexican indie Dopamine to co-finance, develop and produce English-language scripted content.

Dopamine was established in 2017 and is behind big-budget Spanish-language period drama Hernán, the Amazon Prime series which follows the life of Spanish conquistador Hernán Cortés.

Richard Halliwell, CEO of DRG and MD of NENT Studios UK, said: “Dopamine is already producing high-quality Spanish-language content, and our collaboration will extend its global reach while providing DRG with access to its talented team, unique storytelling capabilities and a greater understanding of the Latin American market.
