UK-based DRG has expanded its relationship with WildBear Entertainment in Australia by acquiring distribution rights to more of its factual series.

DRG has taken six new titles produced by WildBear, building on a similar deal it struck with the firm a year ago.

The programmes, which DRG will be officially launching at Mipcom in Cannes in October, cover a broad mix of wildlife and history topics, and include the fourth title in the Baby Animals franchise.

Baby Animals & Friends (10×60′) puts the spotlight on a wide range of baby animals from around the world and follows their lives and behaviour through the changing seasons.

The other titles acquired are In the Wild: Horses (2×60′), In the Wild: Return of the Dingo (1×60′), Impossible Peace (8×60′), Battles Won & Lost (8×60′) and Power (8×60′).

DRG agreed the deal with WildBear through the latter’s agent, Edwina Thring of Wild Thring Media.
