DreamWorks poured over ICE in Maldives

Trolls: The Beat Goes On! will be among the DreamWorks titles on ICE

NBCUniversal International Networks (NBCUIN) has launched kids’ and family brand DreamWorks in the Maldives as a block on the country’s first local free-to-air (FTA) HD network, ICE TV.

This is the third branded block NBCUIN has arranged for DreamWorks in Asia, following deals in the Philippines and Thailand with digital FTA network Mono29.

Under the deal with Medianet-owned ICE TV, viewers will be able to access DreamWorks titles during the early evening from Sundays through Thursdays.

In the initial line-up, series will include Dragons: Race to the Edge, Trolls: The Beat Goes On!, The Adventures of Puss in Boots and All Hail King Julien. Preschool titles such as Noddy Toyland Detective and Raa Raa the Noisy Lion will also be available.
