DreamWorks, E! grow reach in South Korea

Noddy Toyland Detective airs in DreamWorks’ daily morning preschool block DreamWorks Junior

NBCUniversal International Networks (NBCUIN) has agreed a carriage deal with SK Broadband in South Korea to bring two channels to its IPTV service Btv.

DreamWorks and E! will be offered in English with subtitles available in the local language as part of Btv’s animation and entertainment packages respectively.

DreamWorks is a 24-hour, HD, kids and family network that features original television series such as Dragons: Race to the Edge, Trolls: The Beat Goes On! and Trollhunters: Tales of Arcadia from Guillermo del Toro.

The channel also presents a daily morning preschool block, DreamWorks Junior, for two- to five-year-olds featuring shows such as Noddy Toyland Detective and Raa Raa the Noisy Lion.

E!, meanwhile, is focused on pop culture, covering the latest Hollywood news, celebrity gossip and fashion, alongside reality series and specials such as Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Live From The Red Carpet and E! News.
