DR to debut terror drama

When the Dust Settles is told from the perspective of eight characters

DR Sales, the sales arm of the Danish pubcaster, is taking a three new dramas from the region to Mipcom next week, including a series about the aftermath of a terrorist attack.

When the Dust Settles (10×58’) is a multi-plot drama set after an attack in Copenhagen and told from the perspective of eight very different characters who are fundamentally changed after the incident and who affect each other’s lives in unexpected ways.

The series, produced by DR Drama and Stinna Lassen, will have its national premiere next February.

Cry Wolf (8×58’, aka A Family Matter) is the story of a teenage girl who writes a school essay detailing her stepfather’s violent behaviour but the parents deny the accusations.

Produced by DR Drama and Claudia Saginario, Cry Wolf is scheduled for release in Denmark in the third quarter of 2020.

Finally, Follow the Money 3 (10×58’) is the latest instalment of the series which follows a gangster and police officer. The pair are in direct opposition to each other, and when one them pulls a clever manoeuvre, the other counteracts.

The show is produced by Caroline Schlüter, Jacob Jarek and DR Drama and aired earlier this year in Denmark.
