Dorsey makes Hash hire from Indigo

Denver-based factual prodco Dorsey Pictures has hired an experienced creative from Indigo Films as VP of development for unscripted projects.

Katie Hash, who was senior VP of development at Indigo, will relocate from LA to join Allison Boon in developing and overseeing non-fiction projects at Dorsey. Both will report to CEO Chris Dorsey.

During her tenure at Indigo Films, Hash created, developed and sold numerous non-scripted projects to cable outlets including TLC, Animal Planet and Oxygen.

Prior to joining Indigo, she served as VP of development at A Smith & Co Productions, where she collaborated on programmes including American Ninja Warrior (NBC), Wizard Wars (SyFy), Unsung (TVOne) and Conspiracy Theory with Jesse Ventura (TruTV).

Dorsey Pictures was known as Orion Entertainment until its acquisition by Germany’s Red Arrow Entertainment in 2016, when it was rebranded under the name of its founder and CEO.

Its slate of existing shows includes the Tiny House franchise for HGTV and Building Alaska for DIY Network.
