DMR names telco exec financial chief

New York-based content distributor and video aggregator Digital Media Rights (DMR) has appointed a chief financial officer.

Tommy Lee will oversee DMR’s finance, accounting and human resources departments.

Prior to joining DMR, Lee was VP of global business development at Korean telco SK Telecom, before which he held the same role at media and entertainment firm CJ E&M.

He also previously served as CFO for an e-commerce start-up in Korea which was acquired by Groupon.

“He possesses a wealth of financial knowledge from his prior experiences working at various multinational companies as well as start-ups, where he assisted in raising a significant amount of capital or facilitating multimillion-dollar exits,” said DMR co-founder Michael Hong.
