DLT Raydar homes in on Sundog

The joint-venture distribution outfit formed by US-based DLT Entertainment and the UK’s Raydar Media has struck representation deals with Sundog Pictures and Grasshopper Productions.

DLT Raydar Rights, set up in 2012, has picked up three factual titles from Sundog, the UK indie co-founded by former Virgin Media TV chief Johnny Webb and Sam Branson.

Investigative documentary £999 Weddings is currently in production and is being offered for presale. The 50-minute documentary looks at the astronomical costs faced by love-struck couples hoping to get hitched and asks whether it’s possible to get married on such a small budget.

The two finished Sundog titles offered by DLT Raydar include BBC3 series Reggie Yates: Extreme South Africa, a three-parter that looks at contemporary South Africa 20 years after the country’s first free elections.

The other completed show is Michael Beilinson’s directorial debut, How To Find The Perfect Flatmate. The 50-minute programme looks at the very modern dilemma of finding the perfect flatmate and recently aired on Channel 4 in the UK.

Meanwhile, in the kids space, DLT Raydar will represent Christmas family classic Mouse & Mole at Christmas‎, a half-hour special broadcast on BBC1 in the UK about best friends who throw a Twelfth Night party. The programme was coproduced by Grasshopper Productions, Baird TV and Clive Juster & Associates.
