Disney puts on Pajanimals

Disney Junior has picked up preschool series Pajanimals (52×11′) for its feeds across EMEA and Latin America.

The series is a copro between The Jim Henson Company, Northern Ireland’s Sixteen South and US preschool channel Sprout, on which the second season debuted in August.

Henson has now sold the series to Disney Junior, which will begin airing it in France, Italy, Benelux, Central and Eastern Europe, Israel, Turkey, the Middle East and Africa, this month.

This follows previous sales to ABC in Australia and TVNZ in New Zealand.

Patricia Hidalgo, VP of content and programming strategy at Disney Channels EMEA, said the series would complement programming such as Tales of Friendship and the Goodnight Song, both part of the bedtime offering on Disney Junior channels across EMEA.

Pajanimals follows four friends who go on journeys of discovery.
