Disney goes online with BIA

BIA will launch next year

Disney Channel in Latin America has started production on an original series that follows a group of young online content creators.

BIA is from Latino prodcos Pegsa and Non Stop, with Jorge Bechara and Daniel De Filippo attached to direct. The show will follow the online creators as they use technology as a way to express themselves and stay connected to their world.

The show is being produced in collaboration with Disney Channel Europe, Middle East and Africa, and will start airing in 2019. It will feature songs in Spanish and Portuguese, with an array of “innovative multiplatform touchpoints and experiences” also set to become available.
