Discovery, UKTV achieve Impossible

Impossible Engineering’s new episodes will air on Yesterday and Science Channel

Multi-channel operator UKTV and US factual giant Discovery have picked up an engineering series from ITV-owned producer and distributor Twofour.

Sixteen new episodes of Impossible Engineering will air on UKTV’s Yesterday channel in the UK and Discovery’s US cablenet Science Channel.

The Impossible brand now comprises six seasons, including spin-off Impossible Railways, spanning 48 episodes and has been sold into more than 120 territories.

Twofour Rights will launch a slate of formats and finished tape at Mipcom next month, including Channel 4 format Sink or Swim, BBC2’s Hairy Bikers Route 66 and critically acclaimed series The Secret Teacher, which aired recently on Channel 4.
