Discovery+ gets Lucky factual show

I Got Lucky comes from Cream Productions

US factual giant Discovery has acquired a series about near-death experiences for its fledgling global streaming service Discovery+

I Got Lucky is being produced by Canadian outfit Cream Productions. Its pre-sale to Discovery has been sealed by UK-based distributor Cineflix Rights.

The 14×30’ series revisits people’s near-death experiences and looks at how they escaped from the perilous situations. The pre-sale deal includes distribution on Discovery+ in the UK, Germany, Iberia, the Nordics, Italy, Benelux, Poland and Latin America.

Cineflix Rights will continue to distribute the show in all other territories.
