Discovery bags Beyond’s Dengineers

Discovery Family Channel in the US has picked up a British makeover series for children from Beyond Distribution.

The Dengineers (11×30′), which aired on CBBC in the UK last year, puts a twist on the traditional makeover programme by giving kids the chance to design their dream dens. The show is produced by CBBC Productions.

Discovery Family Channel has also acquired both runs of Canadian renovation competition show Game of Homes (16×60’).

The programme, from Vancouver-based Great Pacific Media for W Network Canada, features four teams given the chance to renovate a derelict house, with their attempts scored by a panel of celebrity judges.

Beyond picked up global sales rights to the show last year.
