Digital Media Rights joins DRG’s Cult

Kiwi producer Great Southern Television’s The Cult

US video aggregator Digital Media Rights has picked up a slate of programming from UK distributor DRG, including a scripted series about a life enhancement organisation.

The Cult (13×60’) was created by David Brechin-Smith for TVNZ and is produced by Great Southern Television in New Zealand.

Victoria’s Secrets (1×60’), an interview programme featuring former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham investigating celebrity culture, has also been added. The show features famous names such as Elton John, Ruby Wax and Roger Moore.

Limited series Interview with a Murderer (3×60’) is produced by ITN Productions for UK commercial pubcaster Channel 4. It sees criminologist David Wilson conduct a series of interviews with convicted murderer Bert Spencer.

Bruce Lee: Tale of the Dragon (1×60’) looks at the iconic martial arts actor, while American Vampires (1×50’), a documentary from XYTV, explores underground vampire culture in the US.

Gangs of Britain (8×60’) is made by Alaska for Crime & Investigation Network and examines the UK’s gang culture from the 19th century up to the modern day

Gene Killers: Conspiracy of Science (1x 52’) is produced by Union Pictures and traces the theft of biotechnology secrets in the US.

Digital Media Rights has also added two of DRG’s reality shows. Grin & Build It (13×30’) is produced by Zone 3 for W and follows couples’ DIY home renovations, while seasons one (9×60′) and two (6×60′) of UKTV property series Honey, I Bought the House is produced by Objective Productions.

The content will be made available on Digital Media Rights’ OTT platforms including general entertainment channel YuyuTV and Midnight Pulp.
