Warner Bros Discovery's India & South Asia boss joins Content India line-up

Arjun Nohwar, Warner Bros Discovery (WBD)’s MD for India & South Asia, has joined the speaker line-up for Content India, which takes place in Mumbai from March 16-18.

Nohwar spearheads WBD’s operations in the region, overseeing a wide portfolio of global brands and networks across linear and OTT business lines.

Arjun Nohwar

Before joining WBD, Nohwar was the regional general manager for Uber’s SaaS business across the Asia-Pacific markets. Prior to Uber, he was part of the distinguished TAS cadre at the Tata Group, where he worked across a variety of tech and non-tech sectors and eventually at the group chairman’s office at Tata Sons.

He also spent a year on deputation to the Planning Commission of India, working on India’s manufacturing strategy. In addition, he is on the advisory board of social enterprise AMBA, which works to provide alternative education and employment solutions to empower the intellectually challenged.

Nohwar is also an investor in and advisor to multiple start-ups, and routinely lectures at conferences and management/engineering colleges. As well as his responsibilities at WBD, Nohwar has been co-chair of FICCI’s Media & Entertainment Committee since 2023. He works closely with FICCI and India’s government to shape meaningful policy decisions, helping create a progressive future for the media and entertainment sector.
