Warner Bros. Discovery and Propagate Content execs announced as first keynote speakers for Content London 2024

Content London has announced Kathleen Finch, chairman and CEO, US Networks, Warner Bros. Discovery, and Ben Silverman, chairman and co-CEO, Propagate Content, as its first keynote speakers for the 2024 event.

The three-day event, which runs from December 3-5, with registration and the opening-night screenings taking place on December 2, will dedicate this year’s programming focus on how to adapt and survive in the fast-changing market.

The event attracts more than 3,000 leading content executives from all over the world, with a focus on creating fresh partnerships around the most progressive ideas and initiatives.

Speaking at Content London:

Kathleen Finch, chairman and CEO, US Networks, Warner Bros. Discovery

Finch assumed the role of chairman and CEO, US Networks, at Warner Bros. Discovery in April 2022. Her group of more than 20 networks, including Discovery, HGTV, Food Network, TLC, TNT, TBS, OWN, Investigation Discovery, Cartoon Network, Adult Swim and TCM, produces over 3,000 hours of lifestyle and entertainment programming each year. Finch also leads the Digital Lifestyle Studios Group, which is responsible for producing hundreds of video and social assets.

Together, the US Networks deliver more than 127 million total viewers on average per month, and six of the networks rank among the top 10 in cable. Nearly one-third of all adults 25-54 watch networks in Finch’s group during primetime.

Following Discovery’s acquisition of Scripps Networks in 2018, Finch was named chief lifestyle brands officer. Before that, she served as chief programming, content and brand officer for Scripps’ linear and digital media brands. Prior to Scripps, Finch worked as a broadcast and print journalist, highlighted by a 12-year career as a CBS Network News producer.

Ben Silverman, chairman and co-CEO, Propagate Content

Silverman, the Emmy- and Golden Globe-winning media entrepreneur and visionary producer behind The Office, is the chairman and co-CEO of Propagate Content, creating and producing all forms of content for distribution across a variety of platforms around the world. Pioneering content at the forefront of the entertainment industry, Silverman has created and executive produced major network, cable and digital platform hits, including Golden Globe- and Peabody-winning shows The Office, Ugly Betty, Biggest Loser and The Tudors, as well as hits like Jane the Virgin at The CW, Marco Polo and Flaked with Will Arnett and Mitch Hurwitz for Netflix, NBC’s transformative TV commerce show Fashion Star and Running Wild with Bear Grylls on NBC, Separation Anxiety for TNT/TBS, and Fameless for TruTV.
