First raft of exhibitors confirmed for Content Europe as market set to replace MipTV as spring destination

Content Europe has revealed the first raft of exhibitors for its upcoming three-day market and conference, which takes place in Lisbon from April 21-23.

Up to 150 leading content suppliers are expected to exhibit at the event, which is designed as a sales and acquisitions market, connecting buyers and sellers around formats, factual, drama and kids.

Alongside the market, a three-track conference programme – comprising the Future Formats Forum, the Content Acquisitions Summit and the Kids Content Summit – will focus on uncovering content trends, buyer priorities, and sales and coproduction opportunities across channels and platforms worldwide.

C21’s editor-in-chief & managing director David Jenkinson said: “We knew there was strong demand from distributors for a spring market following the closure of MipTV, but we have been surprised by the quick take-up of meeting tables, stands and suites.

“Content Europe is designed to be cost-effective, and one of the key factors is that we are also inviting the leading commissioners and buyers free of charge. We are now expecting up to 1,500 execs at the event.”
