Australian streamer Stan joins Content Strategies strand at Content London 2024

Scobie is responsible for the streamer’s dynamic content strategy, overseeing content acquisitions and operations, programming and originals. She has executive produced a diverse slate of films and series including Ten Pound Poms, Wolf Like Me, Black Snow and Bump. Scobie has helped negotiate major studio output deals with the likes of Lionsgate, Showtime, NBCU, Paramount, MGM and Sony. She has been pivotal in bringing major overseas content to Australian audiences, accelerating Stan to become one of the nation’s leading SVoD platforms. Scobie was previously the company’s head of content acquisitions and general counsel. Prior to working at Stan, she was corporate counsel at Australian broadcaster Nine.
Amanda Duthie

Duthie’s role encompasses scripted series and features, entertainment, and factual features and series. Stan originals include critically acclaimed and award-winning fiction such as Black Snow, Bump, Population 11, The Tourist, Bad Behaviour, Prosper, Caught, Ten Pound Poms and Wolf Like Me. Its slate of original feature documentaries includes Renee Gracie: Fireproof, Otto by Otto, Danielle Laidley: Two Tribes, Amongst Us: Neo Nazi Australia and The Cape. Duthie’s previous roles include head of arts and entertainment at ABC TV; head of drama at SBS; head of production, development and studios at the South Australian Film Corporation; creative director/CEO at the Adelaide Film Festival, leading both the festival and its investment fund; and creative director/CEO at Adelaide Festival of Ideas.
