Debris falls on TF1, U-Next

Debris airs on NBC in March

French network TF1 and Japanese OTT platform U-Next have both picked up sci-fi series Debris from US prodco Legendary Entertainment.

Written by JH Wyman, who will also act as showrunner, Debris centres on alien wreckage that falls to Earth from space and changes the laws of physics, until two agents are asked to work together to recover the debris.

The series will debut on US broadcast network NBC on March 1. NBC also holds the distribution rights for North America.

Executive producers on the show are Wyman, for his company Frequency Films, Jason Hoffs, Jeff Vlaming and Samantha Corbin-Miller. The series is produced by Legendary and Frequency in association with Universal Television.
