Das Boot sets sail for third time

Das Boot has been acquired across all types of platforms

European satcaster Sky has renewed Second World War submarine drama Das Boot for a third season.

Produced by Bavaria Fiction for Sky Studios, the drama is adapted from the 1981 feature film and 1973 novel of the same name.

The exec producers are Moritz Polter (Spotless, Freud) and Jan S Kaiser (Hotel Lux, Brecht) for Bavaria Fiction; Marcus Ammon, Frank Jastfelder and Julia Jaensch for Sky Deutschland; and Jason Simms for Sky Studios. Bavaria Fiction’s Caroline Fischer produces.
