Damian Kavanagh to leave Tiger Aspect

Damian Kavanagh, MD of Banijay-owned UK prodco Tiger Aspect, is stepping down after two years in the role.

Kavanagh, formerly controller of youth-skewing channel BBC3, left the UK pubcaster to head up Tiger Aspect in 2018. He had been with the BBC in various roles since 1994.

He will depart the prodco at the end of November after assisting Banijay’s UK executive chairman Peter Salmon and CEO Lucinda Hicks in transitioning to new leadership of Tiger Aspect.

Salmon and Hicks were appointed to lead Banijay in the UK in August following its US$2.2bn buy-out of Endemol Shine

Salmon said: “We are now considering the next phase of leadership at Tiger Aspect and how to best support the terrific creativity in the company.”
