Cottonwood preps Find Me in Paris S3

Disney and Hulu are among the buyers to have picked up Find Me in Paris

MIPTV: Federation Entertainment-owned Cottonwood Media in France has begun production on the third season tween drama Find Me in Paris.

The show follows a time-travelling ballet dancer who, poised to become the next young star of the ballet world in 1905, must now negotiate the difficulties of 21st century Paris.

Principal photography on the €12m (US$13.5m) live-action series is scheduled to begin on July 22, with the new season consisting of 26 half-hour episodes, bringing the total number of episodes to 78.

Filmed in Paris and at the Garnier Opera House, the new season will also travel to new locations including the French Riviera and Brussels. British actors Isabelle Allen (Safe, Les Misérables) and Jake Swift (Molly Moon, The Incredible Book of Hypnotism) will also be joining the cast.

Find Me in Paris is produced by David Michel, Zoé Carrera Allaix, Cecile Lauritano. The series is coproduced by Cottonwood Media Gmbh, the firm’s subsidiary in Berlin, with ZDF, ZDF Enterprises, B-Films and the Opera National de Paris.

Written and co-executive produced by Jill Girling and Lori Mather-Welch, with Leila Smith as executive producer, it is directed by Matt Bloom along with Irish directing team Ronan and Robert Burke.

It has been sold to broadcasters including France Télévisions and Disney in France and Italy, NBCUniversal and Hulu in the US, ABC in Australia, and HBO in Portugal.
