Springborn is president of UCP and Universal International Studios, divisions of Universal Studio Group. She reports to Pearlena Igbokwe. Springborn oversees all aspects of UCP and Universal International Studios’ award-winning slate with a primary focus on growing the studios’ global production output. UCP is responsible for critically acclaimed scripted and unscripted docuseries programming, including The Act, Chucky, Dr. Death, Homecoming, Mr. Robot, The Umbrella Academy, and limited series Gaslit, starring Julia Roberts and Sean Penn. Universal International Studios’ productions include hit series Everything I Know About Love, The Undeclared War, Clickbait, acclaimed music comedy We Are Lady Parts, BAFTA-winning reality show Made in Chelsea, Emmy Award-nominated series Hanna, the worldwide TV phenomenon Downton Abbey and Dodger for the BBC.
Toby Gorman, president, Universal Television Alternative Studio
Gorman is president of Universal Television Alternative Studio, a division of Universal Studio Group. The studio, which is a leading supplier of premium unscripted content and format, creates, develops, and produces a diverse slate of original game shows, competition programmes and documentary series for a variety of platforms. Gorman reports to Pearlena Igbokwe and has oversight over all aspects of the studio, including development, production, business and creative affairs. Notable projects under Gorman’s purview include hit comedy variety series That’s My Jam, hosted by Jimmy Fallon, which has been adapted in France, Italy and soon in the UK fronted by BAFTA-winning comedian Mo Gilligan; Making It, starring three-time-Emmy®-nominated hosts Amy Poehler and Nick Offerman; the Emmy-nominated music event series American Song Contest, hosted by Snoop Dogg and Kelly Clarkson; and Hollywood Game Night,for which Jane Lynch has won two Emmy Awards as host.
Erin Underhill, president, Universal Television
Underhill is president of Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group. She reports to Pearlena Igbokwe and oversees creative affairs, casting and production for one of the largest and most successful studios in the world. With Underhill at the helm, Universal Television currently produces more than 50 primetime comedies and dramas as well as late-night programmes for a variety of network, cable and digital platforms. Acclaimed series produced by Universal Television include Dick Wolf’s enormously successful Law & Order, Chicago and FBI-branded series, Russian Doll, New Amsterdam, Little America, Never Have I Ever, Mr. Mayor, The Equalizer, Young Rock, Rutherford Falls, Girls5eva, Hacks, Schmigadoon!, La Brea, Harlem and Bel-Air.
