Joining the Content London speaker line-up:

Tiffany Faigus
SVP, unscripted and alternative entertainment
ABC Entertainment and Walt Disney Television Alternative
In her role, Faigus helps to build on the success of the company’s existing unscripted brand by identifying new ideas and concepts for series, collaborating with the creative community as well as new and existing talent, and supervising creative production on unscripted series and pilots. For the newly formed unscripted unit Walt Disney Television Alternative, Faigus is responsible for both increasing the output and inventory of owned and distributed unscripted programming across all platforms, as well as expanding the production unit’s team. Since joining ABC in 2015, Faigus has managed some of the network’s most notable and successful projects, including Shark Tank, Judge Steve Harvey, Celebrity Wheel of Fortune, Holey Moley, the upcoming Celebrity Jeopardy!, The $100,000 Pyramid, The Disney Family Singalong franchises and, through close partnership with Disney Parks, the specials The Wonderful World of Disney: Disneyland 60, Mickey’s 90th Spectacular and The Magical Holiday Celebration.

Geertje Hoek
Managing director
Talpa Concepts
As managing director of Talpa Concepts, Hoek is in charge of Talpa’s creative heart. With a dedicated team of creatives and a proven methodology, she leads the team with the sole purpose of creating unique non-scripted content that can conquer the world such as The Voice, Marble Mania and more recently Million Dollar Island. Hoek is also in charge of Talpa’s Creative Partnership; a solid network of creative partnerships throughout the global industry that aims to co-create and bring content to a next level. Hoek started her career in TV production for public television. Before joining Talpa in 2009, Hoek worked as head of production for international advertising agency BBDO, where she was tasked with bringing a more unconventional way of producing into the agency. Switching between advertising and television has given her the benefit of combining the best of both worlds in managing a creative team and creating content.

Sumi Connock
Creative director of formats
BBC Studios
In her role at BBC Studios, Connock has responsibility for an extensive formats catalogue of more than 300 titles, including popular entertainment brands such as Dancing with the Stars, The Great Bake Off and Top Gear, alongside scripted formats Luther, Doctor Foster and The Office. Prior to joining BBC Studios, Connock worked as head of entertainment at ITV Studios in Manchester, where she was responsible for multiple formats including Countdown, University Challenge and You’ve Been Framed!, as well as creating and developing new formats including the hidden-camera magic show and Broadcast Digital Award winning Tricked (ITV2), returning daytime cookery format, Yes Chef and children’s quiz, Top Class (CBBC). Connock has an extensive background in entertainment, having previously spent three years as commissioning editor for entertainment at BBC Daytime, where she oversaw output including Eggheads, Are You an Egghead?, Strictly It Takes Two and Through the Keyhole; and also as an executive producer in BBC Entertainment with credits including Just the Two of Us, The Big Finish with Graham Norton and Dear Father Christmas. Further credits include: Streetmate, The Big Breakfast, MTV Europe Music Awards, Dirty Sanchez, An Audience with the Spice Girls, Animals Do The Funniest Things and Blind Date.

He also manages internal creative incentivisation and pilot schemes, plus development for new platforms. Most recently, Townley was global head of creative networks at Endemol Shine Group following his role as Endemol Shine UK’s director of operations.
