After completing his doctorate in nuclear physics at the University of Göttingen, Schäfer began his professional career in 1997 as a consultant at Roland Berger Strategy Consultants in Munich before joining TV-Loonland AG in 2000 as its COO and later head of the business unit home entertainment. In 2004, he moved to All3Media Deutschland GmbH in Munich. There he held various management positions, including that of CFO from 2010 until his appointment as CEO in 2014. From 2018 to 2022, Schäfer was also deputy chairman of the board of directors of Allianz Deutscher Produzenten – Film & Fernsehen e. V. Since July 2022, the proven expert in corporate development, portfolio management and strategic growth has been the president and CEO and spokesman of the executive board of ZDF Studios GmbH.
Mark Linsey
MD, scripted
BBC Studios
Linsey is managing director, scripted overseeing BBC Studios’ teams in drama productions, daytime, continuing drama series and comedy productions, alongside its scripted labels (Lookout Point, Sid Gentle, Clerkenwell Films, Baby Cow Productions, House Productions), and the scripted indie minority shareholdings and distribution relationships. He took up the role in February 2022 when BBC Studios combined its productions and content partnerships businesses to create a single content powerhouse for all productions, talent relationships, and content investment. Prior to this Linsey was the chief creative officer at BBC Studios having joined from the previous BBC Studios (formerly BBC in-house production) after it merged with BBC Worldwide in April 2018. Before this, Linsey held a number of senior positions across both the BBC and the independent production sector, working for companies including Talent Television, Zeal TV and Tiger Aspect.

Christian Vesper

Fremantle
As Fremantle’s president of global drama, a role he was promoted to in 2020, Vesper oversees the company’s efforts to grow the slate of prestige and mainstream dramas further cementing Fremantle’s emerging position as the home for high-end international drama. He joined the company 2016 as part of Fremantle’s ongoing expansion plan to carry out the company’s ambitions in becoming a global leader in the scripted arena. Vesper was previously drama chief at Sundance TV where he oversaw critically-acclaimed international productions including Jane Campion’s Top Of The Lake and Hugo Blick’s The Honourable Woman, starring Maggie Gyllenhaal, Deutschland 83, and domestic series Hap And Leonard, created by novelist Joe R. Lansdale, and Ray MacKinnon’s Rectify, a huge critical success made with Breaking Bad producer Gran Via and ran for four seasons. Vesper also held roles at HBO, entertainment industry start-up iFilm, October Films and USA Film.
Carrie Stein

Stein has worked in the entertainment industry for over 25 years in all phases of the business, including feature film, television development, and production. Stein’s specialty over the last 15 years has been developing and packaging scripted series for the global market, including co-productions, pre-sales and original production in local markets. Stein is one of a handful of executives who is able to navigate the US, UK, Canadian and European markets both creatively and commercially. Stein is currently heading up global scripted series for Dynamic Television, charged with expanding their slate across original series, coproductions, and acquisitions. Stein just ended a two year consultancy for AfterShock Media, leading their global film and TV business. Prior to this, Stein was EVP of global scripted content for eOne where she was responsible for expanding the company both corporately and commercially in the global space, forging strategic alliances with global producers as well as packaging and overseeing production for international co-productions. Earlier in her career, Stein ran the longform packaging department at ICM, representing producers, writers, and talent.
Quan Phung
SVP of original series
Topic Studios
Phung is SVP of original series for Topic Studios, where he further builds the studio’s presence in the television marketplace by sourcing, developing, and packaging premium ongoing and event series for the broadcast, cable, and streaming community. Before joining Topic Studios, he was a senior consultant for STXtv, the scripted television division of STX Entertainment, where he advised the company on their global content strategy and sourced Asian content to take to market. Prior to that, he helped launch Slingshot Global Media, an independent television studio backed by private equity; and was head of television for Scott Stuber’s Bluegrass Films. He started his entertainment career at NBC Entertainment, and later moved to News Corporation, rising to SVP, creative affairs, Twentieth Century Fox Television. Some of the Emmy-winning series he developed during his tenure at Fox include How I Met Your Mother; My Name Is Earl; Arrested Development; The Bernie Mac Show; and House. He was also one of the executive producers of the NBC series Whitney. Phung received a B.A. from Stanford University.
Sharon Hughff

Hughff is the creative director, Scripted Television, UK at Entertainment One (eOne) where she oversees the scripted team and pipeline in the UK while spearheading the company’s efforts to expand its slate of impactful stories to international buyers in Europe and Asia. With more than 20 years’ experience in UK scripted drama, she spent the last nine years as executive producer at Left Bank Pictures. During her tenure there, she was responsible for the development and delivery of The Halcyon (ITV), Strike Back (Sky and HBO), White Lines (Netflix), Three Pines (Amazon) and most recently, The Fear Index (Sky and Showtime). Previously, she served as executive producer at Shed Media, producing the long-running series Waterloo Road. Over the course of her career, she’s produced such hits as EastEnders, Holby City and The Inspector Lynley Mysteries.

Olmstead is the CEO and partner of Anonymous Content, the visionary global media company that produces multi-platform premium content and boasts an exceptional client roster which includes many of the world’s most renowned and innovative directors, writers, and actors. Olmstead joined Anonymous Content from Universal Content Productions (UCP) where she served as president overseeing all creative and business operations of scripted and non-scripted content for the studio, making her the first female head of a traditional media studio to oversee both. While there, she oversaw a range of critically acclaimed and award-winning scripted and unscripted series across the NBCU Cable Entertainment portfolio and shepherded the development and production of key projects including: Emmy & Golden Globe award-winning Mr. Robot, Golden Globe-nominated shows The Sinner, Homecoming (Amazon), and Dirty John (USA Network), as well as the Emmy nominated series The Girl From Plainville (Hulu) and Candy starring Jessica Biel, among many others. On the unscripted side, she partnered with Academy Award winner Errol Morris on A Wilderness of Error and with Academy Award nominee Joe Berlinger for the highly rated Unspeakable Crime: The Killing of Jessica Chambers. She also launched UCP Audio, a new podcast network. She began her career as a segment producer for Saturday Night Live and The Jon Stewart Show, and also served as an executive producer on Bravo’s Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce, Fox’s Prison Break among others.

In his post as chief commercial officer, Walbyoff is charged with the group’s overarching commercial strategy, leading on licensing, merchandising, gaming, gambling, music and secondary rights. Driving market penetration and revenue growth, he maximises monetisation opportunities across the business’ extensive and high-profile IP portfolio. Having spent almost 20 years working in the commercial space, he has a strong track record in the sales, licensing, and marketing of brands and technology, having created partnerships with companies like LVMH, and Formula 1. He has also provided consultancy to ITV across its brand portfolio, and once served as MD for Endemol Shine Group’s global licensing business.
Scott Greenberg

Greenberg is CEO of Blockchain Creative Labs (BCL), Fox Entertainment’s creative technology company, which partners with content creators, IP owners and brands to build, launch, manage and sell NFTs and fungible token content experiences directly to consumers. At BCL, Greenberg oversees a $100 million creator fund to cultivate creative content experiences within Web3. The company recently launched krapopolis.com, the dedicated digital marketplace for Fox’s upcoming animated comedy Krapopolis, from Emmy Award winner Dan Harmon. Earlier this year, BCL launched the Web3 experience Dollyverse, in partnership with Dolly Parton, to release certified NFTs, including limited-edition collectibles of Parton’s Run, Rose, Run album. Dollyverse launched during the 2022 SXSW Conference, for which BCL served as the first-ever blockchain sponsor, providing concierge services and technology to the event’s roster of artists and filmmakers to tokenize their work and make them available for purchase at the SXSW x BCL NFT marketplace. In addition, BCL oversees the digital marketplace The MaskVerse for Fox’s hit singing competition program, The Masked Singer, WWE Moonsault, an NFT marketplace for licensed digital WWE tokens and collectibles, and the new United States Football League (USFL) on its innovative NFT marketplace that mints and sells official digital tokens for the League, its teams, players and coaches. Greenberg also is co-founder/CEO of Bento Box Entertainment, Fox Entertainment’s Emmy-winning animation studio, where he oversees the creative development, animation production, and business operations of the company. Greenberg is a member of the Producers Guild of America, The Television Academy and Young Presidents’ Organization.

Sophie Feron

Award-winning founder and president of Media Ranch, Feron has 30+ years- experience, including a decade as format giant Endemol’s exclusive sales agent in French Canada. Feron, is co-based between Los Angeles and Montreal, is a second-generation producer, helped pioneer the unscripted format business in North America and leads Media Ranch in the creation and sale of unscripted format IP, solidifying its worldwide expertise status. Internationally, Ferron speaks often at major industry events. Media Ranch is a board member of CACE (Canadian Association of Content Exporters). Feron sits on the advisory board FRAPA (Format Rights & Protection Association); is an elected member of the International Emmy organization (IATAS) and a Rose d’Or and International Emmy Awards juror. 2018 Media Ranch launched the globally-known Horsepower incubator with a fourth upcoming edition starting soon with partners Québecor Media and TF1, launching new format creatives whose shows have been globally commissioned/optioned. During her career Feron also sat on board of directors of Quebec’s SODEC; was a Banff World Media Festival French advisory board member and former president of the Association des Studios d’enregistrement du Québec. Prior to creating Media Ranch in 2008, Feron held senior management positions with TQS, Technicolor and Astral Media.
Kelly Webb-Lamb

Webb-Lamb founded Mothership Productions in August 2022 to focus on global formats and ideas of scale across the unscripted genres. Across Webb-Lamb’s career, she has been involved in creating, selling, producing and commissioning a multitude of unscripted award-winning hits on UK television, including The Apprentice, Hunted, the Great British Bake Off, The Island with Bear Grylls, Mary Queen of Charity Shops, and The Circle. She was formerly deputy director of programmes at Channel 4, where as well as looking after a vast roster of shows (including Gogglebox, Naked Attraction, Old People’s Home for 4 Year Olds, A British Tribe Next Door, Murder Island), she also developed new and diverse talent – including Mo Gilligan, Sophie Willan and Yinka Bokinni when they were unknown, as well as nurturing some of the channel’s biggest names such as Sandi Toksvig, Jamie Oliver, Ashley Banjo, Emma Willis, Joe Lycett, Anna Richardson, Prue Leith and Paul Hollywood. Additionally, in her final year at Channel 4, Webb-Lamb passionately drove and landed the hugely successful Black to Front Project – the most radical diversity programme in the channel’s history.
