Comedian Stewart Lee to top SCREENOMI line-up at Content London

A new one-day event titled SCREENOMI will take place as part of Content London, bringing together best selling authors with the content business to help facilitate new business between the world of books and TV.

The one-day event takes place on Friday December 6 and is priced at £299 with Drama Summit delegates being able to register for just £99 if they want to stay for the event.

The one-day SCREENOMI programme will deliver ‘Original Memorable Insights’ from books to screen will take a look at television through a literary lens, focusing on comedy, food, sex, fashion, class, war, relationships, kids and a masterclass in storytelling and creativity from a world-renowned brain surgeon.

There’s also an award for the Most Wanted original idea to be developed from page to screen by a leading independent producer, and a pop-up bookshop will be on site selling signed copies of all titles featured on stage.

Contributors are being added to the schedule every day. The line-up so far includes multi-award-winning writer and comedian Stewart Lee (Content Provider, March of The Lemmings, Comedy Vehicle) All3Media’s Head of Literary Acquistions Hannah Griffiths, Viv Groskop (How to Own the Room, The Anna Kerenina Fix), Cash Carraway (Skint Estate), Dean Stott (Relentless), Dr Shahidha Bari (The Secret Life of Clothes), Will Storr (The Science of Storytelling), Dr Rahul Jandial (Life Lessons form a Brain Surgeon), Henry Firth and Ian Theasby (How to Live Vegan) and TV critic Suzi Feay.

Attendees will make fresh, creative connections between multiple media platforms, boosting their understanding of content development and the practical application of ideas.

The multi-award winning Content London is made up of four standalone events: The International Drama Summit, The Unscripted Entertainment Forum, Kids Content Futures and Screenomi.

The International Drama Summit takes place on December 3/4/5, with Unscripted, Kids and Screenomi taking place on December 6.
