C21 launches Unscripted Entertainment Forum
C21 has announced The Unscripted Entertainment Forum, a new one-day event, will take place on November 27 as part of Content London.
The one-day conference will bring together producers, distributors and broadcasters to discuss trends and opportunities in factual entertainment programming from around the world.
It will chart the commissioning strategies, audience behaviours and future technologies that will impact the unscripted world, and consider how it can adapt its business models to survive and prosper.
Case studies about the most successful unscripted entertainment shows from around the world will form the backbone of this compelling event.
Stephen Lambert, chairman of All3Media America, will keynote at the first Unscripted Entertainment Forum.
He is one of the best-known creative television executives, responsible for creating reality hits such as Undercover Boss, Wife Swap, Secret Millionaire, Perfect Match and Faking It.
Lambert is the founder of Studio Lambert, which he launched in 2008 with All3Media's support, and the company has since created and produced more than 20 series on both sides of the Atlantic, including the worldwide Emmy-winning hit Undercover Boss, which was the number-one new show of the 2009/10 season and the highest rated reality premiere of all time.
Prior to launching Studio Lambert, he was chief creative officer of RDF Media Group, having begun his career at the BBC in 1983 where he worked for 15 years making documentary films and series all over the world.
