CN extends Bare Bears

Cartoon Network Studios animated series We Bare Bears

Turner-owned Cartoon Network in the US has greenlit a third season of its animated comedy series We Bare Bears.

Created by Daniel Chong, the series follows three endearing bear siblings and their awkward attempts to assimilate into human society.

The third season is set to debut early next year and will be produced by Cartoon Network Studios in LA.

The renewal comes after Cartoon Network recently announced it would be bringing two of its most popular comedies, Regular Show and Adventure Time, to an end.

Regular Show is due to end after its current eighth season, while Adventure Time will draw to a close after its ninth season in 2018.
