Broadcasters in Australia (ABC), Israel (Hop!), Wales (S4C), Taiwan (PTS) and Poland (Minimini) have picked up the CGI animated series from Hoho Rights, commercial arm of producer Hoho Entertainment.

Cloudbabies teaches children about the world around them, introducing the concepts of day and night, sun and moon, and rainbows and stars.

The series, which is animated by Manchester-based Studio Liddell and was created by former Cosgrove Hall exec Bridget Appleby (Fifi & the Flowertots), aired on CBeebies in May.

Spain-based Elastic Rights represents the series in Portugal, Greece and Turkey, following a deal with Hoho in September.

Danielle Davies, Hoho Entertainment’s head of sales and acquisitions, said there is “strong international interest” in the series.
