Cinémoi, CuriosityStream stock up at DRG

Underbelly first aired on Australia’s Nine Network

UK distributor DRG has sold content to US film network Cinémoi and global factual streamer CuriosityStream.

The first partnership between Cinémoi and the London-based sales house will see four seasons of Australian true crime series Underbelly and three additional Underbelly Files films – Tell Them Lucifer Was Here, Infiltration and The Man Who Got Away – air on the channel.

Underbelly was originally produced by Screentime in Australia for Nine Network. Cinémoi launched in the US in 2009 offering subtitled French movies but has since broadened its output to include English-language content.

Meanwhile, SVoD service CuriosityStream has acquired a slate of documentaries including How to Go Viral (1×60’) and Chocolate Perfection with Michel Roux (1×60’), plus three history titles: Witches – A Century of Murder (2×60’), 101 Events that Made the 20th Century (8×60’) and Dynasties: Families that Changed the World (4×60’).
