Cineflix takes Ordinary Woman to Mipcom

An Ordinary Woman centres on a prostitution ring run from a florist shop

UK distributor Cineflix Rights has unveiled its scripted and factual programming slate for this month’s Mipcom market, with a Russian drama topping the list.

An Ordinary Woman (8×60′) tells the story of a woman who runs a prostitution ring from her flower shop and was originally created for Russian free-to-air channel TV-3. Cineflix picked up worldwide rights to the series earlier this year.

The Day We Walked on the Moon (1×60′), meanwhile, tells the story of Apollo 11’s mission from the first-hand perspective of key figures in space and those left behind on earth. It is produced by Finestripe Productions for UK broadcaster ITV.

Impossible Builds (8×60′) is a Channel 4 series produced by Windfall Films that explores how a new wave of ingeniously engineered ‘kit’ homes is helping ambitious homeowners construct dream properties in some of the most remote and challenging locations across the UK.

Other titles on Cineflix’s factual slate include Hitler’s Most Wanted (10×60′); Deadly Deception (6×60′) and Children of the Snow (4×60′).
