Cineflix sells into Europe

Broadcasters in France, Italy and Spain have picked up a host of shows from UK distributor Cineflix Rights.

RMC Découverte in France has struck a deal for 30 hours of content a year for programmes, including Impossible Pictures’ World War II: The Last Heroes (6×60’) and Cineflix’s Air Aces (6×60’)

Meanwhile, Sky Italia has acquired Dinner Party Wars (39×60’, Cineflix Productions), House Poor (14×30’, Frantic Films) and Buying & Selling (season 2, 26×60’, Cineflix Productions).

Mediaset Spain has secured rights to My House, Your Money (52×30’, Cineflix Productions), Property Brothers (seasons 1-4, 91×60’, Cineflix Productions) and Buying & Selling (seasons 1-2, 39×60’, Cineflix Productions).

In addition, Spain’s Atres Media has bought Cash Cowboys (seasons 1-2, 26×60’, Cineflix Productions) while Sky Italia and France’s D8 have picked up The Day Kennedy Died (1×60’, Finestripe Productions), timed to mark the 50th anniversary of John F Kennedy’s assassination this November,

Cineflix Rights has also sold Border Security Canada (13×30’, Force Four Entertainment and Seven Australia) to Discovery in Italy and Iberia. All of the deals were brokered by Sabrina Ayals, VP of sales and acquisitions at Cineflix Rights.
