Chile, Uruguay raise Twofour’s Kid

The UK version of What Would Your Kid Do?

Broadcasters in Chile and Uruguay have picked up remake rights to Twofour format What Would Your Kid Do? for their local markets.

Canal 13 in Chile has greenlit a local version of the show from producer Boomerang TV, while Saeta TV Canal 10 will air a 16-episode Uruguayan version from local producer OZ Media.

The format challenges parents to guess how their children will behave in a variety of classroom challenges and real-world activities. In studio, the host observes alongside the parents as they try to predict what their child will do in each new situation.

The UK version, hosted by Jason Manford, airs on leading commercial terrestrial broadcaster ITV. Twofour Rights, the distribution arm of ITV-owned production group Twofour, is including the format on its sales slate for MipTV and MipFormats in Cannes next week.

Other shows available to buyers include Beat the Chef, The Secret Teacher, The Junk Food Experiment and It’s Your Fault I’m Fat.
