C4 wakes up to Eleven’s Nightmares

Channel 4 has greenlit a factual drama series telling real-life horror stories from the production company behind Sky’s The Enfield Haunting.

Eleven Film is working on Nightmares (working title), which will mix documentary-style interviews with drama to tell terrifying tales of paranormal activity.

The 4×60’ series was commissioned by C4’s head of formats Dom Bird with Eleven co-founders and creative directors Joel Wilson and Jamie Campbell executive producing alongside Alex Marengo.

The series will premiere later this year. Eleven has previously worked on observational doc The Secret Life of the Pub for Channel 4 and is currently producing comedy drama Gap Year for its youth-skewing digital channel E4.
