Celestial Tiger adds HK originals

The Other Side of Hong Kong is fronted by Jason Chan

Pan-Asian channels operator Celestial Tiger Entertainment (CTE) has set up its first slate of Cantonese original productions with three series for its cHK network.

The three series will air exclusively on cHK, which is dedicated to contemporary, celebrity-themed Hong Kong-based programmes.

They are The Other Side of Hong Kong, in which host and actor Jason Chan challenges seasoned travellers to explore the city’s hidden gems; Urban Legends, which follows veteran actor David Siu as he examines dark haunts in Hong Kong with the help of famous local meta-physicists; and Hong Kong Stars Restaurants, hosted by TV star Christine Ng, who takes foodies on a tour of the best culinary delicacies Hong Kong has to offer.

The shows will premiere in December 2018, January 2019 and February 2019, respectively. More original productions for cHK are planned for next year, according to CTE.
