CBS’s Lyvers makes int’l move

CBS Studios International (CBSSI) has appointed a senior programming exec at CBS Television Studios to identify opportunities with global broadcast and streaming partners.

Meghan Lyvers

Meghan Lyvers has been named senior VP of coproductions and development at CBSSI and will relocate to the company’s EMEA headquarters in Amsterdam.

She reports to Armando Nuñez, president and CEO at sales arm CBSSI, and David Stapf, president of CBS Television Studios.

Lyvers will develop new programming opportunities for CBS Television Studios in both the US and the international market, acquire new formats and identify coproduction opportunities to develop original series.

She will continue working with the studio’s writers and producers as part of the process.

“The global marketplace continues to grow with more platforms and more demand for programming which, in turn, opens up significant opportunities for premium content providers like CBS,” said Nuñez.

“Meghan will be a great asset to our international operation as we continue to expand our content portfolio and serve our clients’ programming needs.”

Stapf added that Lyvers would bring “a diverse background in film and television, working as both a development executive and a producer.”

Lyvers was most recently senior VP for cable/digital at CBS Television Studios, developing programming for basic, pay cable and premium streaming services. She joined the company as senior VP for drama development in 2014, working on series such as Macgyver, Bull and Crazy Ex-Girlfriend.

Prior to joining CBS, Lyvers was a producer at Management 360 and established its television division, working on shows including AMC series The Terror.

She also served as VP of development and production at Robert De Niro and Jane Rosenthal’s Tribeca Productions for more than a decade, with credits on films such as About a Boy, Meet the Fockers and The Good Shepherd.
