CBS takes Good Fight into fourth round

The Good Fight comes from Robert and Michelle King

CBS All Access, the SVoD service from US broadcast network CBS, has renewed original legal drama The Good Fight for a fourth season.

A spin-off from CBS drama The Good Wife, the series is produced by US studio CBS Television Studios in association with Ridley Scott’s UK-based prodco Scott Free Productions and US-based King Size Productions. It is distributed worldwide by CBS Studios International.

The third season is currently airing on CBS All Access, with a new episode being added every Thursday. Season three’s finale will air on May 16.

The Good Wife duo Robert and Michelle King are the showrunners and executive producers of the series, which they co-created with Phil Alden Robinson. Ridley Scott, David W Zucker, Liz Glotzer, Brooke Kennedy and William Finkelstein also act as executive producers.

The cast includes Christine Baranski, Cush Jumbo, Rose Leslie and Audra McDonald.

This latest recommission follows the news earlier this week that CBS had renewed its NCIS spin-offs set in New Orleans and LA for sixth and 11th seasons, respectively.
