CBS renews NCIS spin-off duo

The fifth run of NCIS: New Orleans is averaging close to 11 million viewers

US broadcast network CBS has renewed its NCIS spin-off dramas set in New Orleans and LA for sixth and 11th seasons respectively.

NCIS: New Orleans’ current fifth season is averaging almost 11 million viewers each week, while NCIS: Los Angeles, which stars Chris O’Donnell and LL Cool J, averages 10.1 million viewers during its Sunday evening slot.

The pick-ups for 2019/20 follow the recent renewal of the original NCIS, which will air during the same season. All three shows are produced by CBS Television Studios.

CBS has already renewed Young Sheldon, Mom, Criminal Minds and Blue Bloods for the coming season, along with shows including FBI and God Friended Me from its freshman shows last cycle.
