CBeebies, Acamar partner for more Bing

Bing is te top-rated preschool show on BBC iPlayer

BBC kids’ channel CBeebies has ordered more episodes of its animated preschool series Bing from UK indie studio Acamar Films.

The 26 shows will air on CBeebies and drop on the BBC iPlayer VoD platform from October 31.

Bing is produced by Acamar Films in association with its Dublin-based partner Brown Bag Films.

Since its creation in 2014, Bing has become the top-rated preschool show on BBC iPlayer and won an Emmy in the Kids Pre-School category in 2016.

The BBC has also relicensed the original 78 episodes of the series

Adapted for television from the children’s books by Ted Dewan, the show celebrates the reality of preschool life and the everyday events that children come across.

In addition to the UK, Bing airs in 116 markets including ABC and Nick Jr in Australia and Rai Yoyo and DeA Junior in Italy.
