Corus has struck carriage deals for the US children’s broadcaster with Rogers, Shaw and Shaw Direct, tipping subscription numbers over the five million mark.

Cartoon Network is the exclusive provider of series such as Adventure Time, Clarence, Steven Universe and Teen Titans Go! to Canadian viewers, often airing day-and-date with the US.

It also owns all programming rights to Nickelodeon content in Canada following a deal with Viacom International Media Networks earlier this year.
