Canuck nets warm to Flame docs

Broadcasters in Canada have acquired documentaries Highwaymen, Pirates & Rogues and Redesign My Brain from Australia’s Flame Media.

Knowledge Network in Canada will air Highwaymen, Pirates & Rogues, which aired on BBC4 in the UK last year and features narration by historian Dr Sam Wills.

Science series Redesign My Brain has been picked up by CBC after airing on ABC in Australia.

Elsewhere, Netflix has acquired seasons one to three of Prospero Production’s Outback Truckers, as well as four classic Australian feature films: Head On, The Interview, The Last Days of Chez Nous and Winter of Our Dreams.
