Cameras roll on Lexi & Lottie

Australian children’s animation specialist SLR Productions has teamed up with Irish producer Telegael, Germany’s Super RTL and ZDF Enterprises and broadcaster Network Ten on a detective comedy.

Lexi & Lottie, aimed at 6-9s, will be executive produced by SLR Productions’ Suzanne Ryan and Telegael’s Paul Cummins.

Created in-house at SLR, the 26×22’ series was developed in 2015 with Super RTL plus the Australian Children’s Television Foundation providing script assistance.

The series, which has just gone into production, will feature SLR’s Jo Boag as creative director, Melanie Alexander as script producer and Greg Ingram as director.

The show follows 12-year-old twins as they tackle adventures in their parents’ animal rehabilitation park.
