C5 waddles into penguin hospital

NEWS BRIEF: UK broadcaster Channel 5 has commissioned a two-part factual entertainment special that follows the daily workings of a penguin hospital in South Africa.

Penguin A&E (2×60’) hails from Remedy Productions, part of the production super-indie Argonon. The Lorraine Kelly-narrated series, which gives a looks inside the SANCCOB Western Cape Centre in Cape Town, was greenlit by Greg Barnett, C5’s commissioning editor for entertainment, daytime and soaps.
