C5 looks into dog food

The UK’s Channel 5 has commissioned a one-off documentary about how British people care for their dogs.

The Truth About Your Dog’s Food is produced for C5 by London-based factual indie Doghouse Media and will premiere in 2014.

The programme will look at what goes into dog food, different methods of feeding dogs and whether owners are actually making big mistakes in the way they care for their pets.

The programme was commissioned by Guy Davies, commissioning editor for factual at C5, and is produced and directed by Mark Adderley at Doghouse Media.
