C5 invites UK to NBC’s game night

Hollywood Game Night has aired on NBC since 2013

Viacom-owned UK terrestrial Channel 5 has commissioned a gameshow based on US network NBC’s hit Hollywood Game Night.

NBCUniversal International Studios’ UK prodco Monkey is producing Celebrity Game Night for C5, hosted by actor and radio personality Liza Tarbuck.

C5 has greenlit a 6×60’ adaptation with six different celebrities each week joining team captains Danny Baker and Susan Colman to battle it out in a series of party games.

The original Hollywood Game Night format was created by actor-producer Sean Hayes and producer Todd Milliner and has aired on NBC since 2013, hosted by Jane Lynch.
