C5 calls back House Doctor

Channel 5 in the UK is bringing back its daytime home makeover show House Doctor, with a designer from Oprah Winfrey’s Home Made Simple series set to host the new version.

House Doctor originally aired on the terrestrial channel between 1998 and 2003, when it was produced by Talkback Productions and distributed by FremantleMedia International.

The distributor is again on board to sell the reboot of the format, which will have a 45×60′ run and will be produced by Boundless Productions, part of FremantleMedia UK.

It will be presented by Tracy Metro, a designer from LA who regularly appears on US television on the OWN series Home Made Simple.
