UK broadcaster Channel 4 (C4) has commissioned All3Media-owned Objective Productions to make a series that looks back at the best of British television.

It Was Alright In The… (6×60’) will look back at 20th century television from the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s using clips and interviews with leading personalities that appeared in the programmes.

The series was commissioned by C4 features commissioning editor Kate Teckman. Its full run follows two pilot episodes that were shown last November.

Adam McLean is series editor, Simon Harries is series producer and executive producers are Andrew Newman and Toby Stevens.

Earlier this month, All3Media appointed former ITV entertainment controller Layla Smith as CEO of Objective Producitons, replacing Andrew Newman who is leaving after six years in the job.
